About Us

BETA ZETA BETA

Our alumnae chapter is active in supporting Texas collegiate chapters, local charities that work with victims of domestic violence, and the scholarship program of the Houston Alumnae Panhellenic Association.  In addition to service, we offer area Alpha Chi's the opportunity to enjoy “the society of our sisters.”  We come from chapters throughout Texas and across the nation. Our ages range from early 20s to 80+!  Be prepared to meet someone new and interesting at every event!

BZB has monthly meetings and social gatherings including lunch bunch, social hours, and other events. Major celebrations include Founders' Day, Hall of Commitment, and more!

Our fiscal year runs August 2023 - July 2024. Dues paid now will ensure your listing in our directory, inclusion in our monthly email newsletters and invitations to all of our social and philanthropic events throughout the year. Deadline is October 15, 2023 to be included in the directory!

Our

Who We Are

Beta Zeta Beta Houston Alumnae Chapter was formed on November 21, 1944 by eleven women bound by the sisterhood of Alpha Chi Omega and representing collegiate chapters from Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. We thank our founding sisters for their devotion and love to Alpha Chi Omega and for providing us with a means to continue our sisterhood in Houston.

We hope you find Beta Zeta Beta a great way to reconnect with former classmates and meet other sisters with similar interests. We are a diverse group of women comprised of recent college graduates, young professionals, stay-at-home moms, experienced business and community leaders, and distinguished members who have enjoyed the bond of sisterhood for over 70 years in Houston. We feature a broad spectrum of members who enjoy the common bond of sisterhood. We hope you will come join us!

Beta Zeta Beta also supports local collegiate chapters Gamma Upsilon (University of Houston) and Iota Pi (Houston Christian University).
